Robert Amaya wins Best Supporting Actor for ‘Carol’ role
Robert Amaya was recently named Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film for his work in CAROL.
The award was announced at the Purpose Film and Media Festival held Aug. 7-9 in Corydon, Indiana.
Robert plays Christmas Present in CAROL, and is part of fan-favorite songs including “I’ve Given Up On Me,” “You Are The One” and “Come On Now Fight.” He also contributed greatly to these and several other songs in the movie.
In addition to CAROL, Robert’s many film roles include the memorable Javi (“Snake Kings”) in COURAGEOUS. His entire family - wife Colleen and daughters Sophia and Angelina - appears along with him in CAROL.
The Purpose Film and Media Festival is a three-day media conference and film festival with keynote speakers, workshops, and networking opportunities.
In addition to Best Supporting Actor in a Feature Film, CAROL earned nominations for Best Feature Film, Best Director (George A. Johnson) and Best Actor (Aaron Fullan).
